Terms of Service

By creating an account or connecting an Instagram account, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

CoffeeReach watches comments on Instagram posts belonging to professional accounts you have connected. When a comment matches a keyword you configured, it sends that commenter a private reply you wrote, optionally posts a public reply beneath their comment, and records the outcome. It also provides reporting on those sends and an inbox for the resulting conversations.

The service operates entirely through Meta's official Instagram API. It does not collect Instagram passwords, scrape Instagram, or automate a browser.

You may connect only Instagram professional accounts that you own or are explicitly authorised to manage. Connecting an account you do not control is a breach of these terms and of Meta's.

Instagram serves this API only for Business and Creator accounts. Personal accounts cannot be connected.

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for everything done through your workspace, including by team members you invite.

You write the keywords, the messages, and the links. You are responsible for their content and for their legality, including any claims you make, any disclosure or labelling your industry requires, and any consent your jurisdiction requires before messaging someone.

CoffeeReach sends what you configure, to people who triggered it by commenting. We do not review your message content in advance.

You must not use CoffeeReach to:

• send unsolicited bulk messages, or message people who have not interacted with the connected account;
• send content that is unlawful, deceptive, harassing, hateful, or sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else's rights;
• impersonate another person, business, or CoffeeReach itself;
• promote or link to malware, phishing, scams, or misleading offers;
• circumvent Instagram's rate limits, or attempt to use the service in a way Meta's Platform Terms prohibit;
• resell, sublicense, or expose the service as your own API without a written agreement with us;
• attempt to gain access to another customer's workspace or data.

You also agree to comply with Meta's Platform Terms, Instagram's Community Guidelines, and applicable messaging, privacy, consumer protection, and anti-spam law. Where these terms and Meta's conflict, Meta's govern your use of their platform.

Instagram enforces limits on how many private replies an account may send. CoffeeReach stays within the documented limit and queues anything above it rather than discarding it, but we cannot guarantee delivery of any individual message. Meta may reject, delay, or filter messages for reasons outside our control, including the expiry of the messaging window a person's own message opened.

We may rate-limit, pause, or disable a campaign, an account, or a workspace where we reasonably believe it creates abuse, security, legal, or platform-compliance risk — including risk to the Instagram accounts of our other customers. Where practical we will tell you first, and we will always tell you why.

The service depends on Meta's API and on hosting, database, queue, and email providers. We work to run it reliably, but it is provided “as is”, without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Scheduled and unscheduled interruptions will happen.

You can stop at any time: disconnect your Instagram accounts from Settings, and request deletion of your data through the Data Deletion page. We may end your access for a material breach of these terms.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Karrar Enterprises LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. This does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

The service is built in part on MIT-licensed open-source components, whose copyright notices are retained. Those licences cover the components themselves and grant no rights to the hosted service, to your account data, or to the CoffeeReach name.

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and material changes will be sent to account holders by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Ohio.
