What counts as an active contact?
Each unique person your automations interact with during a billing month. Messaging the same person twice in a month counts once; next month they count again if they interact again.

ManyChat's free plan now covers 25 contacts
On 2 March 2026 ManyChat replaced its Free and Pro plans with five tiers billed by active contact. The free plan dropped from 1,000 contacts to 25, and every paid tier now charges per contact once you pass its allowance.

I signed up before 2 March 2026. Does this apply to me?
The new plans applied first to accounts created on or after that date, and availability varied by region. Check your own billing page for the plan you are actually on.
Why does CoffeeReach not charge per contact?
Because a campaign that works should not raise your bill. Plans differ by what you can run - accounts and live triggers - never by how many people you reach.
Is CoffeeReach a full ManyChat replacement?
No. ManyChat covers WhatsApp, Messenger, TikTok, SMS and email with a general flow builder. CoffeeReach does Instagram comment-to-DM. If Instagram comments are what you use ManyChat for, this comparison is the relevant one.
